Bulk FOB/CIF Shipping Procedures

Logistics guide detailing FCL capacities, purpose-made 200L food-grade metallic container specifications for oils, and bulk shipping procedures from Cochin Port (Kochi).

Efficient logistics are as critical as product quality. Hornbill Exim utilizes the Cochin Port (Kochi) for rapid access to global shipping lanes (Jebel Ali, Rotterdam, Newark, Singapore).

Container Capacities & Packaging

  • Coconut Oil (Bulk): Shipped in 20ft FCLs using purpose-made 200L food-grade metallic containers (80 drums / ~16 MT per 20ft FCL). Fabricated brand-new for each shipment, these hermetically sealed steel drums eliminate the catastrophic rupture and scorching risks of 22MT or 30MT single bulk flexitanks. 1,000L IBC totes are also available for industrial facilities.
  • Spices (Pepper/Cardamom): Packed in 25kg multi-wall Kraft paper bags with moisture barrier liners. Container capacity ranges from 14 MT to 15 MT per 20ft FCL depending on bulk density.

Incoterms Support

We offer robust FOB (Free On Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms. Our integrated logistics network handles inland transport, customs clearance, and port handling, allowing buyers to focus purely on procurement.
